Born in Chicago, Illinois on January 7, 2002, Terry Yaki was raised in Atlanta, Georgia — a background that shaped both his grit and work ethic.

Who I Am
I’m Terry Yaki, better known as “The Real Deal.” I bring passion, creativity, and raw energy to the ring every time I step between the ropes. My style is unmistakable — high-flying, unpredictable, and always evolving. I’m not just wrestling matches: I’m crafting moments.

My Journey
I made my pro wrestling debut in 2021, and quickly began appearing for promotions around the world — including major exposure with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where I first appeared on the May 3, 2022 episode of AEW Dark. Pro Wrestling+1
Over the years I’ve wrestled internationally — from Japan to Puerto Rico — and earned a reputation as a dynamic performer willing to push the boundaries and bring “my sauce” to every match.

Everything I do is built on hard work, resilience, and authenticity. Growing up, my father taught me that if you don’t work, you don’t eat — a lesson that still fuels my hunger today. Even as a kid, I learned to turn failure into lessons, to push through doubt, and to always stay true to myself. 

Wrestling isn’t just a job — it’s my passion, my art, my “ikigai.” I believe in building something real, something fans remember. I strive to bring a new generation of innovation to wrestling: fresh moves, fresh stories, and a style that keeps people on the edge of their seats.
